This YouTube comments scraper exports visible comments from one or more YouTube short video watch URLs into a structured CSV. Import the workflow into the UScraper local desktop app, paste your video links, and collect usernames, comment text, like counts, reply count text, comment time, video titles, video URLs, and author channel URLs without building a browser script or wiring the YouTube Data API.

At a glance
Capture the comment thread context
Export each loaded comment with the source video URL and title, so sentiment, moderation, and research notes stay tied to the right short video.
Handle lazy-loaded comments
YouTube loads comments as the page scrolls. The workflow scrolls toward continuation items, waits between passes, and stops when the page becomes stable.
Run in your desktop session
The template uses your local browser profile and writes to your configured save folder. Your input URLs and CSV stay local unless you add an upload step.
Move straight into analysis
Open the CSV in Excel, Sheets, a database, or an AI review workflow to classify comments, find repeated questions, or compare videos.

How to use
Paste video URLs
Replace the sample Navigate URLs with one or more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=... links. The Loop Continue block advances the workflow after each export.
Use a persistent profile if needed
If YouTube shows login, CAPTCHA, age, or bot checks, solve them in the browser profile before running a batch. Do not automate around access controls.
Confirm the export path
Structured Export appends rows to youtube_comments_scraper_shortvideo.csv with headers. Change the save folder before running client or campaign jobs.
Run and verify
UScraper loads each URL, waits, scrolls comments, exports rows, and moves to the next video. Open the CSV and spot-check row counts before scaling.
Output preview
The export keeps one row per loaded top-level comment thread. Reply drawers are not expanded by default; the workflow captures the visible reply count text when YouTube exposes it.

YouTube comments may be publicly visible, but automated collection can still be restricted by YouTube terms, robots rules, copyright, privacy law, and local regulations. Do not bypass access controls, collect private data, or republish comments without a valid basis. Get legal review before using exports commercially.
Before you run
Operational guardrails for YouTube comment exports
Avoid aggressive repeated runs
YouTube may slow, block, or challenge automated browser sessions. Keep batches modest, avoid parallel loops, and pause when verification or unusual response pages appear.
Selectors can need maintenance
Empty exports, blank vote counts, or missing author links usually mean comments did not load, the video disabled comments, or YouTube changed its page markup.
Choose the right access path
For sanctioned, quota-backed production integrations, compare the official YouTube Data API comment endpoints. Use desktop scraping only where it fits your legal, privacy, and platform-compliance review.
Download the hosted template JSON, run a short test, and use the CSV when you need to export YouTube comments into a local spreadsheet for review.
