Terms of Service
The rules for using UScraper, including desktop app licensing, responsible scraping, templates, purchases, updates, support, and product limitations.
Last updated: May 17, 2026
Personal or business license
Your license lets you install and use UScraper for lawful data extraction under the plan or purchase terms you selected.
You control your projects
You decide which workflows to build, which websites to access, and what data to export from the desktop app.
Responsible scraping required
You must respect applicable laws, website terms, robots rules, rate limits, privacy rights, and data ownership.
Agreement to these terms
These terms apply when you access the UScraper website, download the desktop app, buy a license, use templates, or contact support.
UScraper is a no-code desktop web scraping product that helps users build browser automation workflows visually and export extracted data. By using UScraper, you agree to these terms and any additional terms shown during checkout, download, activation, or template purchase.
If you use UScraper on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
Software license
We grant you a limited right to install and use UScraper; we do not sell the software itself.
- Your license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and limited to the product, plan, number of users, and supported operating systems described at purchase.
- You may use UScraper to create scraping workflows, run local browser automation, save projects, and export data for your own lawful personal or business purposes.
- You may not sell, sublicense, lease, host, share, or provide UScraper as a managed service or competing product unless we give written permission.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, bypass license checks, remove proprietary notices, interfere with activation, or attempt to access non-public parts of the product.
- You are responsible for keeping your license key secure. If a key is leaked, shared, abused, or used outside the allowed scope, we may suspend or replace it.
Acceptable use
UScraper is a tool. You are responsible for how you configure and run it.
- Do not use UScraper to violate laws, third-party rights, website terms, robots rules, privacy requirements, intellectual property rights, or contractual restrictions.
- Do not scrape private, sensitive, confidential, paywalled, authenticated, or regulated data unless you have a lawful basis and any required permissions.
- Do not use UScraper for spam, credential harvesting, phishing, malware, surveillance, identity theft, harassment, fraud, or attempts to bypass technical access controls.
- Use reasonable request rates, delays, and limits. Do not overload websites, disrupt services, or ignore blocking signals.
- Review and clean exported data before using it for decisions, publication, outreach, analytics, machine learning, or resale.
Your projects, exports, and inputs
You keep ownership of scraper projects, workflow designs, input URLs, selectors, credentials you enter into third-party websites, and datasets you export, subject to rights held by website owners and other third parties.
You are responsible for securing local project files, browser profiles, credentials, screenshots, logs, CSV files, JSON exports, and any other output generated with UScraper.
If you send files, logs, screenshots, exports, or sample URLs to support, you grant us permission to use that material only to investigate your request, troubleshoot the product, improve documentation, or provide the service you asked for.
Templates and examples
Templates are starting points, not guarantees that a third-party website allows scraping or will remain compatible.
- Templates, example workflows, documentation snippets, and blog guidance are provided for convenience and education.
- Third-party websites may change markup, access rules, rate limits, login flows, or anti-bot controls at any time, which can break a template or workflow.
- Before running a template, you must confirm that your intended use is lawful and allowed by the relevant website and data source.
- We may update, remove, rename, or replace templates as websites change or as the product evolves.
Payments, updates, and support
- Prices, launch offers, included support, update periods, and platform availability are shown on the website or checkout page and may change for future purchases.
- A paid license unlocks the features described for your purchase. Some future features, platforms, managed services, premium templates, or enterprise services may require a separate purchase.
- We aim to provide useful product updates and support, but we do not guarantee that every website, workflow, selector, login flow, or extraction scenario will work forever.
- Refunds, if offered, are handled according to the refund terms presented at purchase or any written policy we provide.
- You are responsible for taxes, payment accuracy, chargeback information, and keeping your billing and license contact details current.
Availability and changes
UScraper may depend on operating systems, browsers, browser drivers, third-party websites, payment providers, download hosting, and license validation services. Those dependencies can affect availability or behavior.
We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the website, desktop app, templates, documentation, pricing, or support channels. We will try to avoid changes that materially reduce active paid access without a reasonable reason.
Disclaimers
UScraper is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free scraping, complete extraction accuracy, compatibility with every website, or that use of the product will satisfy your legal obligations.
We do not provide legal advice. Any content about scraping rules, privacy, robots.txt, terms of service, or compliance is general information only. You should consult qualified counsel for your specific use case.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UScraper and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, website blocking, third-party claims, or scraping results.
Our total liability for claims relating to UScraper will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Suspension and termination
- You may stop using UScraper at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access to licenses, downloads, support, or services if you breach these terms, misuse the product, share license keys, attempt to bypass licensing, create legal risk, or use UScraper in a harmful way.
- After termination, the sections that should reasonably survive will continue to apply, including ownership, payment obligations, acceptable use, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as UScraper evolves. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the website, email, checkout flow, or application.
