Google Play Reviews Scraper for App Avis CSV

This Google Play reviews scraper opens public app detail URLs, loads the available avis or review dialog, scrolls through review cards, and exports structured feedback into CSV. Import it into the UScraper local desktop app to collect app rating, reviewer name, review date, star rating, helpful votes, and comment text without building a crawler or wiring a scraping API.

At a glance

Extract Google Play app reviews from detail URLs

The template is built for teams that already know which Android apps they want to monitor. Add Google Play detail URLs to the Navigate block, keep the language and country parameters aligned with your research scope, and run the workflow to download Google Play reviews into a local CSV. The sample bundle uses French review labels, so the export column names include avis wording, but the automation also checks common English review labels such as "See all reviews".

UScraper follows a practical browser path: Navigate to each app, wait for the page, verify that an app title exists, open the reviews dialog when the button is present, scroll the active review container, expand longer review text, wait for rows to stabilize, then export the loaded cards. If the app URL is unavailable or the review dialog is not present, the loop moves to the next URL instead of blocking the full batch.

Review rows with app context

Keep app name, app-level rating, total review count, reviewer, date, star rating, helpful votes, and comment text together in one audit-friendly row.

Batch-friendly URL input

Paste multiple approved Google Play app URLs into the Navigate block and let Loop Continue advance through the list.

Dialog and scroll handling included

The workflow opens the review panel, scrolls the detected container, and expands visible "read more" controls before export.

Local desktop execution

Your app list and exported CSV stay in the desktop workflow unless you add your own upload, sync, or sharing action.

For discovery before review collection, use the Google Play App Scraper. For a related review workflow, compare the Google Play Review Scraper, and use the Apple App Store Search Scraper when your research spans iOS. The full UScraper template library includes additional marketplace, search, and review exporters.

Automation flow

How the Google Play review extractor works

The Navigate block contains multiple Google Play app detail URLs. UScraper waits up to 30 seconds for each page and checks for h1 span or h1 so unavailable app pages can be skipped cleanly.

How to use

Scrape Google Play reviews from app URLs

1

Download and import

Download the

hosted Google Play app avis scraper JSON

and import it into UScraper.

2

Add approved app URLs

Replace the sample URLs in the Navigate block with Google Play detail pages for the apps you are allowed to research. Keep hl and gl parameters consistent across a batch.

3

Keep the review loader

Leave the review-button check, click, sleep, and injected scroll loop enabled for your first run. They handle the dialog and long-comment expansion before export.

4

Confirm the export folder

Structured Export writes google_play_app_avis_scraper.csv with headers and append mode. Change the save location before client, market, or release-specific runs.

5

Run and verify

Start with one app URL, open the CSV, and compare several rows against the visible Google Play reviews before expanding to a longer batch.

Frequently asked questions

Google Play reviews can be publicly visible, but automated collection may still be limited by Google Play terms, robots rules, copyright, privacy law, and local regulations. Use conservative pacing, do not bypass access controls, and get legal review before using exported review datasets commercially.

Before you run

Practical limits and maintenance notes

Keep these constraints visible

Rate limits

High-frequency review collection can trigger access checks

Keep batches modest, avoid parallel loops, and add longer waits if Google Play responds slowly or review counts stop increasing.

Layout drift

Review card markup can change

Empty reviewer names, missing star ratings, or blank comments usually mean Google Play changed the dialog layout and the Structured Export columns need review.

Policy

Review usage rights before sharing datasets

Use exported reviews for approved research workflows and avoid republishing personal data or derived datasets without compliance clearance.
