This BioBioChile scraper turns selected BioBioChile article detail pages into a structured CSV for Chilean news monitoring, media research, and topic archives. Import the template into the UScraper local desktop app, replace the sample article URLs, and export keyword, title, author, published date, introduction, full article text, and source URL without building a custom BioBioChile data extractor.

At a glance
Use this template when you already have BioBioChile article URLs from search, the site's latest-news page, RSS, a sitemap review, or an analyst-curated list. The bundled workflow focuses on article detail pages rather than crawling every category index. That makes the export more controlled: you decide which stories enter the dataset, then UScraper extracts the article fields consistently.
The sample project is configured around the keyword label salario minimo. You can change that value before each run so every row keeps the topic, campaign, or research query attached to the extracted article. For broader discovery, pair this detail-page export with the Google News Scraper, Yahoo News Scraper, or CNN News Scraper.
Article text in spreadsheet shape
Export BioBioChile articles with headline, byline, date, summary text, full body text, and original URL in fixed CSV columns.
Controlled multi-URL batches
The Navigate block loops through the article URLs you approve, while Structured Export appends each page to one file.
Local desktop workflow
The browser session and CSV output stay on your machine. The stock template does not route article text through a hosted scraping actor.
Metadata and body fallbacks
The extractor checks JSON-LD, meta tags, visible article containers, and paragraph text so layout variation does not immediately break the run.

How to use
Download and import
Download the hosted BioBioChile scraper JSON template, then import it into UScraper.
Replace the article URLs
Open the Navigate block and paste the BioBioChile article URLs you are allowed to process. Start with a small reviewed batch.
Set the keyword label
Update PalabraClave from the bundled salario minimo example to your own topic, beat, client, or research query.
Confirm the export path
Structured Export writes biobiochile_scraper.csv with headers and append mode. Change the save folder before recurring runs.
Run and review
UScraper navigates, waits four seconds, confirms the headline is visible, exports the row, and continues to the next URL.
Automation path inside the template
Navigate
Visit each configured BioBioChile article URL from the multi-input list.
Wait and settle
Pause briefly, then wait until an article heading is visible before extraction begins.
Structured export
Append keyword, title, author, published date, introduction, body text, and URL into one CSV.
Loop continue
Move to the next URL until the supplied list is complete.
Output preview
The bundle did not include a finished sample CSV, so the preview below mirrors the Structured Export block from the template JSON. Values are representative, but the column names match the workflow exactly.

Scraping BioBioChile can be restricted by the site's terms, robots directives, copyright, privacy law, and your own data-use rules. Use public pages only, keep batches modest, do not bypass access controls, and get legal review before republishing, resale, or AI training.
Before you run
Guardrails for reliable BioBioChile exports
Repeated article requests can be slowed or challenged
Keep batches modest, avoid parallel unattended runs, and stop when you see verification, access-control, or unusual consent screens.
News article markup can change
Empty title, date, author, intro, or body fields usually mean BioBioChile changed article markup. Re-test a small batch before relying on recurring exports.
Article text needs careful downstream use
Use exports for permitted internal monitoring, research, or review. Do not republish, resell, or train on article text unless your rights and platform permissions are clear.
