This AOL search result scraper turns AOL Search result pages into a structured CSV for SEO checks, source discovery, market monitoring, and research handoffs. Import the template into the UScraper local desktop app, edit the starter query, and export keyword, title, link, and description rows without writing browser automation.

Collect AOL result rows by keyword
Start from the bundled Sustainable living search URL, then replace it with your own approved AOL queries. Add more URLs in Navigate when you need several keywords in one run.
Export a compact spreadsheet
Structured Export writes one row per result with the keyword, headline, decoded link, and description-like metadata such as length, age, source, or accessible label text.
Use best-effort pagination
After each export, UScraper scrolls down, checks for a visible enabled AOL Next button, clicks it when present, waits for the next page, and appends the next result set.
Run in the local desktop app
The browser session and CSV are controlled from your machine unless you add a separate upload or sharing block.

Market researchers
Source discovery
Use the CSV to build a first-pass source list for niche topics, competitor terms, public resources, or campaign themes before deeper page-level extraction.
Agencies
Repeatable reporting
Replace manual copy-paste work with a reviewable AOL search to CSV workflow that keeps keywords and result links together for audit trails.
How to use
Edit AOL Search URLs
Replace the starter q=Sustainable+living URL in Navigate with your own keyword. Add more AOL Search URLs to the same list for batch runs.
Confirm the CSV path
Structured Export writes aol-search-result-scraper.csv with headers and append mode. Change the save folder before client, campaign, or research-specific batches.
Run and watch the first pass
UScraper loads AOL, waits for result headings, exports the visible rows, scrolls to pagination, and follows the enabled Next control when it appears.
Review the output
Open the CSV, spot-check several links, and confirm description metadata is useful before expanding the keyword list.

The column set mirrors the template's Structured Export block. It is intentionally small so analysts can sort by keyword, deduplicate links, review result titles, and hand the destination URLs to deeper extractors from the UScraper template library.
AOL Search pages may be publicly visible, but automated collection can still be restricted by AOL or Yahoo terms, robots directives, publisher rights in snippets, privacy rules, and local law. Keep batches modest, avoid bypassing access controls, and get legal review before commercial reuse.
Before you run
Keep these guardrails in view
Search pages can throttle aggressive automation
Start with one keyword, avoid parallel browser runs, and add longer waits if AOL responds slowly or shows verification, consent, regional, or unusual-traffic pages.
Result cards and pagination can change
The workflow targets common AOL result containers and a visible enabled Next button. Empty exports or missing titles usually mean the page layout, result type, or wrapped-link pattern needs review.
Use exports for approved research workflows
Search snippets and destination links can carry contractual, copyright, privacy, and internal-policy constraints. Document your allowed use before republishing or selling derived datasets.
