Bing Search Results Scraper for CSV Export

This Bing search results scraper exports Bing RSS result pages into a structured CSV for SEO research, market monitoring, and source discovery. Import the workflow into the UScraper local desktop app, edit the query, and collect keyword, title, link, description, and source rows without writing code or wiring a search API.

At a glance

Export Bing results without fragile SERP markup

This template uses Bing's RSS search-results endpoint instead of scraping the visible HTML results page. That makes the workflow simpler to maintain when a normal SERP shows consent prompts, layout variants, throttling pages, or mixed result modules. The Navigate block starts with an editable query, currently "Online education", and includes first= offsets for pages 1 through 10.

UScraper loads each URL, waits up to 30 seconds for the page, sleeps briefly, then confirms that RSS item rows exist. When items are present, Structured Export reads each row and appends it to the same CSV. When no items appear, the flow ends cleanly instead of creating empty output.

Spreadsheet-ready search data

Export the fields analysts normally need for a Bing SERP inventory: the original keyword, result title, destination link, description snippet, and source domain.

Pagination is already wired

The workflow loops through 10 Bing first= offsets and appends all result pages into one file with headers enabled.

Local desktop execution

Your query list and CSV remain in the desktop workflow unless you add your own upload, sync, or sharing step.

Less layout maintenance

RSS item rows avoid many HTML selector changes that affect visual search-result pages.

Who this helps

Use cases for Bing search result exports

SEO analysts

Cross-engine checks

Favorable to scraping

Use the CSV to compare Bing visibility against Google, DuckDuckGo, or Yahoo exports, then group results by source domain for ranking reviews.

Market researchers

Source discovery

Favorable to scraping

Collect public result links for a topic, remove duplicates, and pass promising sources into follow-up enrichment or content analysis workflows.

Agencies

Client reporting

Favorable to scraping

Create repeatable export Bing results runs for approved keywords and keep CSV evidence alongside campaign notes.

Pair this template with the Google Search Scraper, DuckDuckGo Scraper, and Yahoo Search Scraper when a report needs a broader search-engine view. Browse the UScraper template library for follow-up extractors once you have the result URLs.

How to use

Configure the Bing search scraper workflow

1

Download and import

Download the hosted JSON template and import it into UScraper.

2

Edit the query

Replace Online%20education in the Navigate URLs with your approved keyword. Keep format=rss, language, country, and first= offsets aligned with your reporting needs.

3

Confirm the export path

Structured Export writes bing_search_results_scraper.csv with headers and append mode. Change the save folder before running client or campaign-specific batches.

4

Run the loop

UScraper navigates to each RSS URL, waits for load, pauses briefly, checks for item rows, and exports every matching result.

5

Open the CSV

Review row counts, spot-check a few result links, and confirm the source domains before using the file in reporting or downstream analysis.

CSV columns produced by the template

The export mirrors the workflow definition and keeps one row per RSS item. The source field uses the feed source when Bing provides it, then falls back to the destination hostname.

Frequently asked questions

Bing results may be publicly visible, but automated collection can still be limited by Microsoft terms, robots directives, copyright in snippets, privacy rules, and local law. Keep runs modest, avoid bypassing access controls, and get legal review before using exported results commercially.

Before you run

Practical limits and maintenance notes

Keep these constraints visible

Rate limits

High-frequency runs can still trigger throttling

Use modest batches, avoid parallel loops, and add longer waits if Bing responses slow down. Treat verification or unusual response pages as a signal to pause.

Feed changes

RSS structure can change over time

Empty exports, missing descriptions, or source gaps usually mean the feed response changed, the query returned too few results, or a regional setting needs review.

Policy

Review rules before republishing snippets

Search snippets can carry copyright, privacy, and platform restrictions. Use the export for approved research workflows and document your compliance review for commercial datasets.
