What it does

Scrape Amazon Best Sellers rankings to CSV

Amazon Best Sellers pages are useful when you need a quick view of what Amazon is surfacing inside a category or subcategory. This template starts at the official Best Sellers entry point, waits for one of several common list-card layouts, then runs a Structured Export over each product row. The export captures the list name, inferred subcategory, rank position, product title, canonical product URL, image URL, visible price, rating text, and review count.

The automation follows a simple path: Navigate -> Wait for Page Load -> Wait for Element -> Structured Export -> Element Exists -> Click Next -> wait and loop. When Amazon no longer exposes an enabled Next link, the false branch ends the run cleanly. If your research needs official sales rank semantics, compare the export with Amazon Product Advertising API documentation before relying on scraped rows for production decisions.

Amazon product data extractor

Collect ranking rows with product titles, URLs, images, prices, ratings, and review counts in a repeatable spreadsheet format.

Pagination already wired

The workflow checks Amazon's enabled Next button and appends additional top-list pages until the list ends or access changes.

Built for CSV workflows

Open the export in Excel, Sheets, BI tools, enrichment scripts, or manual category review processes.

Local desktop execution

The stock workflow saves the CSV to your configured local folder and does not route output through a hosted scraping actor.

How to use

Configure the Amazon Best Sellers scraper workflow

1

Download and import

Download the hosted JSON template, then import it into UScraper.

2

Choose the top-list URL

Keep the default Amazon Best Sellers URL or replace it with a specific Amazon bestseller category page you are allowed to review.

3

Confirm waits and output path

Leave the page-load and element waits in place for dynamic cards, then set the save folder for amazon_top_lists_scraper_suite.csv.

4

Run the pagination loop

UScraper loads the list, waits for product rows, exports the current page, checks whether Next is enabled, clicks it, waits, sleeps briefly, and repeats.

5

Open and audit the CSV

Spot-check ranks, product URLs, missing prices, and duplicate rows before using the export for reporting, sourcing, or downstream enrichment.

Frequently asked questions

Amazon Best Sellers pages may be publicly visible, but automated collection can still be restricted by Amazon Conditions of Use, robots rules, intellectual property rights, marketplace policies, privacy law, and local regulations. Keep runs modest, do not bypass CAPTCHA or access controls, and get legal review before commercial reuse.

Limits and maintenance notes

Pacing

Amazon may throttle or challenge automation

Use modest batches, avoid parallel runs against the same category, and increase waits when pages load slowly or product cards appear incomplete.

Selectors

Best Sellers layouts vary by category and region

Missing prices, blank ranks, or empty titles usually mean Amazon changed markup, rendered a different card type, or showed an access page instead of results.

Policy

Review terms before commercial reuse

Treat the CSV as a research export. Review Amazon policies, robots directives, API options, and applicable law before redistributing, reselling, or enriching scraped product data.
