What it does

Scrape Amazon.de reviews into a structured export

Amazon review pages vary by marketplace, product, language, session state, and anti-automation response. This Amazon.de review scraper is built as a best-effort workflow: it sets a stable browser viewport, opens the configured Amazon.de product URL, waits for the product title, stores product metadata, scrolls to the customer reviews area, and creates hidden normalized rows from the review cards that are actually visible.

The template uses checks instead of assuming every page is available. If review rows exist, Structured Export appends the rows to CSV. If Amazon hides reviews, requires sign-in, shows anti-bot text, or returns a no-review state, the fallback export writes a diagnostic row with the product metadata and a short reason. That makes failed sessions easier to audit than a blank file.

Review text with product context

Export every review row with product URL, title, ASIN, aggregate rating text, first-available date, reviewer name, individual stars, headline, location/date text, body, and helpful vote statement.

Pagination is already wired

After exporting the visible rows, the workflow checks for an enabled Amazon review Next control, clicks it, waits for the next page, and loops back through normalization.

Local desktop execution

The stock template writes CSV output to your configured save folder and does not send review exports through a hosted scraping actor.

Built for QA

Diagnostic rows help distinguish empty review pages, sign-in redirects, CAPTCHA responses, and selector drift before you use the CSV in analysis.

How to use

Configure the Amazon review scraper workflow

1

Download and import

Download the hosted JSON template, then import it into UScraper.

2

Replace the Amazon.de URL

Edit the Navigate block and replace the sample product URL with the Amazon.de product page you are allowed to collect. Run one ASIN first before building a batch.

3

Keep waits, scroll, and checks

The graph uses Navigate, page-load waits, a product-title wait, review-area scrolling, row-normalization JavaScript, Element Exists checks, and a pagination branch.

4

Confirm the CSV destination

Structured Export writes amazon-reviews-scraper-for-germany.csv with headers and append mode. Change the save folder before running client or project-specific exports.

5

Run, paginate, and audit

UScraper exports visible review rows, clicks the enabled Next control when present, and writes a diagnostic fallback row when Amazon does not expose review cards.

Output preview

Amazon reviews CSV fields

The export keeps product-level context on every row so you can filter by ASIN, compare rating text, and trace a review back to the original product page. Fields may be blank when Amazon hides a value, changes the card layout, or returns a sign-in or anti-bot page instead of review markup.

Frequently asked questions

Amazon.de reviews may be publicly visible, but automated collection can still be restricted by Amazon terms, robots directives, copyright, privacy law, marketplace policies, and local regulations. Keep runs modest, do not bypass CAPTCHA, sign-in walls, or access controls, and get legal review before commercial reuse.

Practical limits and maintenance notes

Rate limits

Amazon may throttle, challenge, or redirect automation

Use modest batches, avoid parallel runs against the same ASIN, and increase waits when pages load slowly. Do not try to bypass CAPTCHA, sign-in walls, verification pages, or access controls.

Selector drift

Review layouts and localized labels change over time

Empty exports, missing ratings, or repeated diagnostic rows usually mean Amazon returned a different page state or changed markup. Re-test the normalization and export rows before relying on a scheduled run.

Compliance

Review text can carry legal and privacy obligations

Treat the CSV as a research export. Review Amazon policies, robots directives, API alternatives, copyright rules, and applicable data protection law before republishing or reselling review data.
