What it does

Scrape Amazon Hot New Releases category rankings to CSV

Amazon Hot New Releases pages are useful when you need a fast read on products that have recently started ranking inside a category. This template works as an Amazon product rankings scraper for those lists: it opens each configured URL, waits for the ranking grid, extracts one row per product card, and keeps the category name beside every exported item.

The automation path is direct: Set Window Size -> Navigate -> Wait for Page Load -> Sleep -> Wait for Element -> Structured Export -> Loop Continue. The Navigate block owns the category pagination URLs. Structured Export writes in append mode, so page 1 and page 2 land in one CSV with headers enabled.

Launch ranking data by category

Export rank, ASIN, title, product URL, image URL, brand, rating, rating count, reviews link, platform, price, and the original category URL.

Pagination is already wired

The bundled graph loops through two known Amazon pg=1 and pg=2 URLs and appends both pages into one file.

Local desktop execution

The stock workflow saves the export to your configured local folder and does not route rows through a hosted scraping actor.

Editable category inputs

Keep the Video Games example for testing, then paste in approved Amazon Hot New Releases category URLs for your research scope.

How to use

Configure the Amazon New Releases extractor

1

Download and import

2

Choose category URLs

Keep the default Video Games Hot New Releases URLs for a test run, or replace the Navigate list with approved Amazon category URLs that include the pages you want to review.

3

Confirm waits and output path

Leave the page-load wait, short sleep, and product-card wait in place for dynamic content, then set the save folder for amazon_hot_new_releases_scraper_by_category.csv.

4

Run the loop

UScraper opens each URL, waits for gridItemRoot ranking cards, exports visible product fields, and advances to the next configured page.

5

Open and audit the CSV

Review missing prices, blank brands, duplicate ASINs, and any Amazon access page before using the file for sourcing, reporting, or enrichment.

What the Amazon Hot New Releases CSV includes

The export is built for category comparison, not a thin product list. Category, rank, and ASIN fields repeat on every row so you can filter a launch snapshot, join product rows to later detail exports, or compare repeated category runs over time.

Frequently asked questions

Amazon Hot New Releases pages may be publicly visible, but automated collection can still be limited by Amazon Conditions of Use, robots rules, marketplace policies, intellectual property rights, privacy law, and local regulations. Keep runs modest, do not bypass CAPTCHA or access controls, and get legal review before using exports commercially.

Limits and maintenance notes

Guardrails for reliable Amazon category exports

Rate limits

Amazon may throttle or challenge automation

Use modest batches, avoid parallel runs against the same marketplace, and increase waits when product cards load slowly or access pages appear.

Selector drift

Hot New Releases cards can change by category or region

Blank titles, missing ranks, or empty price fields usually mean Amazon rendered a different layout, hid a field, or returned a non-product page.

Compliance

Review terms before commercial reuse

Treat the CSV as a research export. Review Amazon policies, robots directives, official API options, and applicable law before redistributing, reselling, or enriching scraped product data.
