Be polite with how often you run it
Aggressive loops can trigger throttling, truncated HTML, or repeated CAPTCHAs even from a desktop browser. Keep the pause between pages reasonable, don't run dozens of venues in parallel, and stop whenever the site asks you to verify you're a human.
Read TripAdvisor's terms before redistributing reviews
Public reviews still come with rules. Skim the TripAdvisor Terms of Use and robots.txt before reusing excerpts in ads, undisclosed testimonials, resale datasets, or AI training. Reviews can mention health incidents or employment disputes—minimise retention, obtain consent where anecdotes identify people, and document your lawful basis.
