SUUMO Rental Listing Scraper for CSV Export
This SUUMO rental listing scraper exports public rental result pages from suumo.jp/chintai into a structured CSV. Import the workflow into the UScraper local desktop app, adjust the search-page URLs, and collect rent, address, station access, fees, layout, area, detail links, images, and available unit counts without writing a custom crawler.

At a glance
Scrape SUUMO rental listings into a spreadsheet
The workflow is organized for repeatable rental market research. It starts with a Navigate block containing known SUUMO search-result URLs, so you can replace the default Shinjuku pages with another city, ward, station area, or filtered search that SUUMO exposes through normal pagination.
After each page loads, UScraper waits until rental listing cards appear, then Structured Export reads one row per property card. JavaScript-backed columns combine station access lines, resolve relative detail links into full URLs, capture the first image URL, and count the unit rows shown under each property.
Spreadsheet-ready rental data
Export the fields analysts usually need first: property name, address, access, rent, fees, layout, floor area, listing URL, image URL, and available unit count.
Pagination is already wired
The bundled run loops through 20 configured ?page= URLs and appends matching cards into one local CSV with headers.
Local desktop execution
Your search URLs and exported rental CSV stay in the desktop workflow unless you add your own upload, sync, or sharing step.
Ready for follow-up enrichment
Use exported detail URLs as inputs for a second workflow, deduplication, geocoding, broker review, or market rent analysis.
Who uses this
Use cases for a SUUMO data extractor
The problem
Manually comparing dozens of rental cards across SUUMO pages is slow and hard to audit.
What you do instead
Export SUUMO listings to CSV for spreadsheet review.
Researchers can sort by rent, layout, area, access text, or available unit count while preserving the source detail URL for spot checks.
The problem
Rental listing cards mix building-level and unit-level facts in one visual block.
What you do instead
Capture consistent columns from every listing card.
The template separates property name, address, access, building age, rent, fees, deposit, key money, layout, and area into named fields.
The problem
Cloud scraping actors may not fit data handling rules for internal property research.
What you do instead
Run the workflow in the local desktop app.
Use UScraper when your team wants a no-code rental listing export without routing the raw CSV through a third-party scraping dashboard.

How to use
Configure the SUUMO rental scraper workflow
Replace the search pages
Edit the Navigate urls array. Keep SUUMO's ?page= pagination pattern, but swap in the city, ward, station, or filter URL you need.
Confirm the page guard
The workflow waits for .cassetteitem cards before exporting. Run one page first so you can confirm the listing layout still matches the template.
Set the export folder
Structured Export writes suumo-rental-property-listings.csv with headers and append mode. Change the save location before client, market, or monthly batches.
Run and review the CSV
UScraper follows Navigate -> Wait for Page Load -> Wait for Element -> Structured Export -> Sleep -> Loop Continue. Open the CSV and spot-check rows before downstream use.

CSV fields for SUUMO rental property listings
The export mirrors the workflow definition and keeps one row per listing card. Some SUUMO cards show multiple unit rows under one building; this template captures the first visible unit details plus an available_units_count field so you can flag buildings that need deeper follow-up.

Comparison
Local rental export vs cloud SUUMO scrapers
UScraper template
Local CSVCloud scraper or API
HostedImport a no-code JSON workflow
Edit the Navigate URLs and export path inside the desktop app.
Configure actor, API, proxy, or account settings
Often better for developer-operated infrastructure.
CSV is written to your configured local folder
The stock template does not add upload or sync blocks.
Requests and results pass through vendor infrastructure
Useful for managed scale, but less direct for local-only review.
Controlled batches of SUUMO search pages
Best for market checks, research sheets, and repeatable ward or station exports.
Large scheduled extraction pipelines
Best when you need managed proxying, API delivery, or production monitoring.
Frequently asked questions
SUUMO rental pages can be publicly visible and still governed by SUUMO terms, robots directives, copyright, database rights, privacy rules, and Japanese real estate data rules. Use conservative pacing, avoid bypassing access controls, do not republish protected content without permission, and get legal review before commercial reuse.
Before you run
Practical limits and maintenance notes
Keep these constraints visible
Large batches may trigger throttling or checks
The default workflow includes a short sleep, but larger page sets may need longer waits. If SUUMO shows CAPTCHA or anti-bot checks, solve or review them manually in the browser before continuing.
Listing-card selectors can change
Structured Export depends on .cassetteitem cards and related fields. Empty columns, missing URLs, or odd unit counts usually mean the source layout or filters need review.
Check SUUMO terms before reuse
Use the export for approved research workflows, keep source URLs for audits, and confirm rights before storing, enriching, sharing, or republishing rental listing data.
