Export MercadoLibre product reviews with item context

The workflow is a MercadoLibre data extractor focused on review rows, not just product listings. Each row repeats the product URL, product name, price, average rating, rating count, review count, and optional AI summary beside the individual review fields. That makes the export useful when you need to sort reviews by product, compare star ratings, or run text analysis on customer comments.

Unlike a visual-only scraper, this template uses a hybrid path. UScraper opens the product page first, waits for load, accepts a matching consent button when present, and then runs JavaScript that parses the item ID from the URL. The script attempts MercadoLibre product and review endpoints, loops through review offsets, renders one normalized hidden row per review, and hands those rows to Structured Export.

Analysis-ready review rows

Export product metadata, review text, review dates, helpful-like counts, and per-review ratings in one CSV instead of copying comments by hand.

Multi-product input

Add several MercadoLibre item URLs to the Navigate block and keep append mode enabled when you want one combined file for a category or competitor set.

Local desktop execution

The stock workflow writes to your configured local folder and does not send the exported CSV through UScraper infrastructure.

Endpoint-aware extraction

The automation attempts public product and review responses, then exports normalized fields through the standard Structured Export block.

How to use

Configure the MercadoLibre reviews to CSV workflow

1

Download and import

Download the hosted JSON template, then import it into UScraper.

2

Add product URLs

Replace the sample MercadoLibre item URL in the Navigate block with the product pages you want to collect. Use direct item URLs that include the MercadoLibre item ID.

3

Confirm the save folder

Structured Export writes mercadoLibre-review-scraper.csv with headers enabled and append mode on. Change the save location before client or campaign runs.

4

Run the extraction loop

UScraper navigates, waits for load, checks for a cookie consent button, runs the review-fetch script, waits for .uscraper-review-row, and exports every rendered row.

5

Open and audit the CSV

Spot-check row counts, empty review cells, product names, and rating values before using the file in dashboards, spreadsheets, or downstream analysis.

CSV columns produced by the template

The export mirrors the workflow definition and keeps one row per review. Page-level fields repeat on each row so you can filter by product after combining several MercadoLibre URLs in one run.

Frequently asked questions

MercadoLibre reviews may be publicly visible, but automated collection can still be limited by MercadoLibre terms, API terms, robots rules, copyright, privacy law, and local marketplace rules. Use modest volume, do not bypass verification or access controls, and get legal review before using exported reviews commercially.

Practical limits and maintenance notes

Keep these constraints visible

Verification

MercadoLibre can redirect some sessions

Autonomous tests showed that MercadoLibre may redirect to account verification or block review endpoint access. Treat blank exports or verification pages as a signal to pause and review access.

Rate limits

Large batches need conservative pacing

Keep product URL batches modest, avoid parallel runs against the same country site, and add longer waits if responses slow down or review rows appear inconsistently.

Policy

Review text may carry reuse restrictions

Use the CSV for approved research workflows, document your lawful basis, and review MercadoLibre terms before republishing quotes, reselling datasets, or training models.
