At a glance
Starts from keyword-matching article URLs
The sample workflow loops over Infobae article URLs for the keyword educacion. Replace those URLs with your approved list and update the keyword constant so the CSV keeps source context for every row.
Builds a research-ready spreadsheet
Structured Export writes one row per article with fixed fields for headline, deck, byline, date, body text, and URL. That makes the Infobae articles CSV easy to filter, code, dedupe, or hand to an analyst.
Runs in the local desktop app
Your article list, browser session, and output file stay under your control. That is useful when media teams need a no-code news scraper without routing source research through a cloud actor.
Uses page metadata where possible
Author and publication date are read first from article JSON-LD metadata, with fallbacks to visible page tags and URL date paths when the page exposes less structure.

Use adjacent templates when your research moves beyond one publisher: the Google News Keyword Scraper helps discover broader coverage, the Yahoo News Scraper covers another news surface, and the Universal Content Scraper is useful for approved article pages outside the Infobae workflow. Infobae pages can be governed by publisher terms, robots directives, copyright, database rights, privacy rules, and local law. Use this template for legitimate research, keep volume modest, avoid bypassing access controls, and get legal advice before redistributing article text or building commercial datasets.
Limits and maintenance
Operational guardrails
Keep article batches modest and paced
News publishers can throttle repeated automated browsing. Avoid parallel runs, add pauses for larger URL lists, and stop if Infobae shows verification, consent loops, or blocked access.
Headline and article selectors may need updates
The template waits for an h1 and reads body paragraphs plus JSON-LD metadata. If Infobae changes article markup, missing titles, blank dates, or short text fields are the signal to refresh the workflow.
Respect publisher and source rules
Public pages still carry terms, copyright, and jurisdiction-specific constraints. Review Infobae robots guidance, source permissions, and your internal policy before storing, sharing, translating, or training models on article text.
